What is Orienteering?
Orienteering is a sport where we use a map to find flags placed in the open area, and we try to finish the course in the fastest possible time while searching for these flags sequentially.
The most enjoyable part of orienteering is that you can push the boundaries of this sport as much as you want in any terrain and age category.
As METU Orienteering and Navigation Team, we are one of the pioneering teams of this sport, and you can still come across us at different points on our campus and in our forest every week.
